The time it takes to complete and ship your order varies depending on the availability of the item(s) you’ve purchased, as well as any customization you’ve requested. Typically, custom orders are completed and shipped within one week, but during our busiest times, this may take longer.

Once your order is shipped, tracking information can be provided so that you may see the status of your shipment.

In most cases, helium latex balloons can last as long as two weeks. The amount of time your balloons last can vary depending on where and how they’re displayed; but it’s worth noting that they look their very best in the first few days.

While latex is a porous material that allows it to stretch when it’s inflated, Mylar isn’t. Mylar balloons are made from foil, which means they’re airtight. This means Mylar typically lasts longer; however, it’s not biodegradable which means it’s less environmentally friendly. That said, mylar balloons now feature self-sealing valves and don’t typically last as long but when cared for, they can be reused by refilling them with helium or air.

While latex balloons are biodegradable, they still can be harmful to the environment when left to decompose, a process which can take as long as four years. Because of this, we do not recommend releasing helium balloons into the environment: our motto is inflate it and weight it!

While hosting a classroom or family bingo game isn’t subject to gaming laws in Alberta, any charity or community bingo games where cards are sold and prizes are offered do require a license from Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis.

Whether you’re adding a dartboard to your pub or your basement, hanging it properly is essential to enjoying the game.

Height

Hang the dartboard so the bullseye is exactly 1.72 metres from the floor.

Throwline

The throwline distance depends on whether you’re using steel-tip darts or soft-tip darts. For a steel-tip dartboard, the throwline should be measured 2.37 metres from the wall, while on a soft-tip dartboard, it should be 2.44 metres.

Mounting

Most dartboards come with mounting hardware, but if you’ve purchased one that didn’t, a simple u-shaped metal bracket, which can be purchased from Canuck Amusements, placed directly into a stud is the best way to hang your dartboard. A good dartboard typically weights about 11 lbs.

If you’ll be hanging the dartboard on drywall, ensure you have heavy-duty anchors that can support its weight.

Most darts are made from a blend of nickel and tungsten; however, darts can still be purchased in various other materials. 

• Tungsten/nickel: Heavy but dense, allowing for a thin dart that meets weight requirements.

• Brass: Lightweight material, requires a larger dart to meet weight requirements.

• Steel: Comparable to brass, steel is lighter in weight and requires the dart to be larger in size.

Darts have no minimum weight or size requirements; however, they may be a maximum of 50 grams and up to 12” from the point tip to the back of the flight. Most customers prefer to play with darts ranging from 23 grams to 28 grams, with newer players preferring a dart that’s on the heavier side.

Custom orders are produced and shipped as quickly as possible. While our typical turnaround time is within one week, this time may be slightly longer at busier times throughout the year or with larger or more complicated orders.

Visit us in-store or contact us to discuss options and place an order for trophies. As with most custom orders, your trophy can typically be customized and shipped within one week, depending on the time of year and size of your order.
